The kids are so excited for Christmas.

We have been counting down the days till Christmas and every day the kids get a little more excited. The kids have all asked for pillow pets this year even Brandon yells and points when he see them on TV or in the store. I have been using the threat of being on the naught or nice list to get them to do what I want them to do. I love Christmas.

Halloween Fun

We did alot this October but one thing that we will always remember is our cousin Halloween party. All the cousins were there even Chelsea's kids. The kids had so much fun playing games.

This year I decided to meet the challenge of being a super hero mom and making all the kids Halloween customs. I would have to say they turned out pretty good. My kids make the cuties super heros.

Chad loves Halloween and for years and years now has scared children and adults at my parents house on Halloween. This year Adam was so excited to join Chad that he didn't even want to go trick or treating he just wanted to be with dad.

My baby is ONE!

This year has gone by so fast.

Brandon is the caboose of our family so it is a little sad to think he is one already.

Brandon is such a fun little guy. We really feel like our family is complete with him.

Brandon loves to do anything his big sisters and big brother are doing. He thinks he is as big as

they are and will often try to do things that a one year one shouldn't do. We gave Brandon a set of golf clubs for his birthday and by the pictures you can see he loves them.

Brandon love to:

play golf,

dance,

eat bananas,

push cars around the house,

say mam,mam and da,da over and over,

play chase and run with his big sisters and brother,

and get love from his pas (pacifier) and blanket.

This summer is a summer that our family will always remember because we added a new member to the family! She is very cute and fun. The kids love her and she makes Uncle Mike very happy. She is our new Aunt Anne! Mike, Chad's little brother got married about a week ago. The day was beautiful and the couple were even more beautiful. The kids and Chad were all in the wedding. We all had a great time celebrating with Mike and Anne on their special day. There was great food, music, dancing, and lots of family and friends. Here are just a few pictures from the wedding.

Happy Mother's Day to all you busy moms out there.

Today I'm a REAL Mom on mothers day, doing it all.

Chad went to work at 4:45 am this morning and so no breaks for me.

Chad did leave out these beautiful flowers for me this morning and a sweet card.

REAL moms on Mother's Day get up at 6:30 am with four kids, make breakfast,

my pick, of course, waffles and sauges. Then get four kids ready for 9:00 am church.

Go to church and then come home to this:

Never ending laundry and a sink full of dishes.

Which I'm choosing to save until tomorrow, it is mothers day.

Now on to the best part of Mother's Day. My kids!

The kids have been real good today they told me that because

it was Mother's Day, they were not going to fight or whine.

I of corse told them that sounded great.

On this mother's day, I want to write about each one of my kids

and what I love about them.

Addie 7 1/2 years old

Addie is my little helper, we often call her little mommy

because she is always helping out. When I need help

she is always willing to do it. She loves school and has

come a long way this year with reading. She can now read

small chapter books and she is so excited.

Addie is very caring and often thinks of others and wants

every one to be kind and loving.

Addie has been learning how to play the piano and

I'm amazed at how good she is at it.

She is very excited about her upcoming

8th birthday when she will be baptized.

Emma 6 1/2 years old

Emma is my score keeper. She likes to make sure all is fair in our house,

unless it is beneficial for her. It is always ok with her if she gets a little more

than everyone else in the house.

Emma still likes to sit right next to me on the couch or right

on top of me if I let her. She loves to cuddle.

Emma also loves to be the best and will always put

100% into what she is doing to win.

Emma is in kindergarden this year and has done great!

She is in the top of here class, and has lots of friends.

Adam 3 1/2 years old

Adam is my boy. He is a real mommas boy and

wants to be with me all the time.

Adam has fallen in love with his DS and I have to put

it up most days so he will play with something else.

Adam still loves golf and is always trying to swing his clubs in the house.

I had to make a no club swinging rule unless Brandon is taking a nap rule.

Adam will say with great excitement when Brandon is napping,

" I can swing my clubs now Brandon is sleeping" as he is running

for his clubs.

Adam is an all-boy boy. He needs to run, jump and wrestle

every day or he will turn into a beast. I have had a lot of fun playing with him.

Brandon 10 months old

Brandon is my baby who is growing waaaaaay to fast.

He is now in the exploration stage which means he makes big messes and fast.

He can crawl really fast and if you turn you back on him,

he will get into something. His lastest favorite things to do are

open all the drawers in the kincken and pull everything out. He

is also in love with rolling out all the toilet paper in the bathroom
and putting his hands in the toilet.

Brandon is a very happy baby. He loves all food and

will still take two naps a day for me, which I love.

Today for the first time Brandon looked right at me and yelled out

" ma ma ma"

from his highchair after he was done with his lunch. It was so cute.

On this Mother's Day I feel very blessed to be a REAL mom

and spend the day like I always get to with my kids

who I love more and more every day.

becoming a better photographer

So one of my goals for this years is to become a better photographer.

To try new things,

To have fun,

Take more pictures of my kids

and

To put the art back into my pictures.

Luck for me last week while looking at one of my fav. blogs The Idea Room (link in my side bar) there was a photographer who is telling it all when it comes to photographer.

The photographer Kristen Duke challenged the reader to go all manual.

So I did it and I turned out great!

These are the picture I came out with. I have not done any photoshop to the pictures and look at the color I love it! It will still take some time getting the hang of working with my camera but I'm up for the challenge to get great color like this.

January, February and now March have come and gone and too much has happened to get you caught up so I will start with what is going on this week. The kids and I have been enjoying the great warm weather spending time outdoors playing. I took this pictures yesterday of the kids.

So I'm putting it out there so all of you have your fare warning. If any one messes with Brandon you will have two big sisters to deal with. Addie and Emma love this little guy so much. They can't get a enough of him. They both start off the day fighting over who getts to hold him first and who has held him the longest. They fight over who gets to feed him or bath with him. They both want to make sure they are the best big sister. It is really cute.
Brandon is now 8 months old and has been getting into everything in the house he can crawl super fast and opens cupboards. He walks along the couch and will climb over anything or any one in his way of something that he wants. He is really into smiling with his mouth open right now and it is so cute! It makes me smile every time I see it.

Let Snow !!!

We love the snow! Last weekend we had lots of fun thanks to our good friends Dodd and Amy. Amy planed a trip to the snow for Dodd's birthday and asked us to go with them. Chad had to work so with the help of Amy and Dodd I went with out Chad. The kids had so much fun and the smiles on their faces tell it all.

Adam had the time of his life. He really loves the snow. On the way home he ask at least 5 times if he could have his next birthday at the snow like Dodd. Too bad his birthday is in August and he will probably never get snow for his birthday.

This is just one of the many reasons why I love Ventura.

It is January and as many people bundle up to walk outside, I get to grab a sweatshirt and take a walk at the beach as I watch the sunset. Ventura really is Paradise.
2010 has started and like many of you, I'm excited for the new year and all the opportunities this new year holds for me and my family. Chad is really big on new year resolutions, and I guess after 10 years of marriage he has rubbed off on me. I have made a whole list of goals for the new year and so far things are going great. My biggest goal this year is to get rid of my baby fat- you know that extra weight that comes with having babies. I'm not having any more babies, so I can work hard to get it off and keep it off. I started eating healthier the day after Christmas and I joined a gym this week, hence the workouts have started. I have great hope that by this summer I will be a healthier mommy with more energy for my kids and I will be fitting better my swimsuit. Along with my list, the kids have made resolutions. Addie 7 years old wants to become a better reader and read every day. Emma 6 years old wants to ride bikes more and learn more at school. Adam 3 years old wants to hit a golf ball into the bucket at the range which is about 60 yards out. Brandon 5 months can't tell me yet what he wants to do this year but I'm sure learning to crawl and walk is what he plans on doing.

Merry Christmas to all you blog readers.

It has been a long time from my last family update and I have now come to the understanding that blogging and many other things are on the back burner for now. All the work that comes with have four kids really leaves me with very little free time and I'm too tried most nights to turn on the computer. The work of being a mom is really hard and so so great at the same time. I really believe that the hardest things in life are the greatest things. I feel very blessed this year with the birth of our baby Brandon, he really completes our family. He is the happiest baby and makes are whole family happy. He is such a happy baby that in the middle of the night when he wakes up to eat he wakes me up by cooing and laughing. It is so cute that I look ward to waking up in the middle of the night to feed him. I really love this little guy.

I hope this week you will all have joy and peace as we celebrate the birth of the Savior , Jesus Christ.

I would have to say that one of the best things in the whole world is a smile from a baby and Brandon is so good at them. Every morring he wakes up smiling and then he gives them all day long to our family. We are so luck to have this happy little boy as part of our family.

It is time for an update on the Anderson family. We have had a month full of many firsts for our family. We took our first family photo with Brandon. Brandon is now 7 weeks old and loves his family.

But once she gets her socks on, she sure can play...

Emma was awesome in her first game. She stole the ball a few times, broke away from the pack, and scored 2 goals. She also had 2 shots on goal, but they didn't go in. Her coaches were very impressed and wanted to make sure they are documented as her first coaches for when she goes pro.

Brandon didn't care about all the hype of soccer...it put him to sleep. But if they were golfing, you can be sure he would have been awake rooting on his sisters...

Adam enjoys playing with his new set of clubs he got for his 3rd birthday. He looks so cute walking with his clubs. He actually hit the ball to the bottom of the hill on this Par 3.Adam attempts to make his birdie putt....

Less than one minute old...

Proud siblings came to visit Brandon later that morning. They were

so excited to have their brother join the family.

Adam says, "I'm not the baby any more. I'm the Big Boy." He told mom,

"I take my baby home now."

Emma was constantly taking off the beannie to check Brandon's

hair color. She's excited he is gonna be a toe-head like her.

Addie told mom that now she gets to practice "for reals" to be a mom.

She is constantly saying she will change all diapers, even the dirty ones.
The first time she saw a dirty diaper, she reconsidered and said, "Eww

that's gross" and stepped away.

Ashlyn and Scott came over to our house and watched the kids while

we went to the hospital. When the kids came to visit Brandon for the first

time, they brought these cards for their brother. Thanks Ashlyn & Scott!!

Brandon is a great baby. He sleeps well and eats good. We are so lucky

to be blessed with such a wonderful baby. :)

A couple baldies...

Happy 4th of July

So I know it is July 10th now, but happy late 4th to all of you.

Thanks to family and friends, we had a great 4th of July.

We started the morning off with a great pancake breakfast at church. Then we headed off

to the city's pushem- pullem parade. The kids really love being in the parade and I think it is fun to see all the people and get in the spirit of the 4th.

Adam's favorite part of the parade was at the begining when he and Hannah tried to eat all the candy he had brought that was supposed to be thrown as he walked down the parade.

The day ended with a fireworks show, root beer floats, and three happy kids.

As you can see there is no baby yet, just an ever growing belly and a more and more tired mommy. I have about 1 1/2 weeks until my due date and like all moms at the end I look forward to have a baby to let others hold too. The kids are very excited to meet there new brother and ask me every day when he will be here. Thanks to my mom I have these great pictures, she took them this morring.

So many of you are probably wondering where we are or what has happenend to us over the last 3 months and let me tell you alot has happened. So much has gone on that I have not had any time to update our blog.

I feel like the non-stop going started with my trip to Vegas in April.

My sisters, parents, and I went to Vegas in a "Girls Gone Wild" weekend. Our childhood friend Jodie got married and we were all thrilled to leave our children at home with their dads. Of course, we all had a great time.

Here's a picture of me going down the waterslide 7 months pregnant. This baby is going to love adventure. Keely and I will be having babies close together again. This time we will be having boys.

Then I photographed 2 weddings at the LA Temple back to back.

I also managed to squeeze in a trip to the SB Zoo with Addie's class.

Believe it or not, I squeezed in another photo shoot. This time of Senior pictures and maternity pictures.

My sweet hubby took me to Hawaii on our 10 year anniversary. This was our first trip with no children and we had the time of our lives. A huge thanks to my mom and dad for watching our children.

We went to Hanauma Bay (world famous snorkeling), but our favorite place in the world to snorkel is Shark's Cove on the North Shore.

We enjoyed watching 5 sunsets on our trip. This was our last. We sat on the resort loungers and ate ribs and juicy pineapple.

Chad's step-brother got married, and he officiated the ceremony.

The kids danced their hearts out... They ended up being the entertainment for the evening.

Emma officially graduated from Pre-School. Here she is with her teacher.

Addie graduated Kindergarten. Here she is with her teacher.

Addie's first crush was with Brandon from class. Looks like he likes her too. The two were the tallest kids in all 4 classes of kindergarteners.

Our annual trip to Palm Springs was a BLAST this year. The resort had two water slides. This little one for the kids, and a big one for the adults. The kids must have went down the slide 100 times each. Our first day, we were at the pool for a total of 7 straight hours.

The adult slide had 3 turns on it. Addie just cleared the 48 inch minimum.

The kids enjoyed having their cousins there and playing with them.

Adam loved watching daddy play "real man" ping pong and take his lickings from Uncle Mike. But daddy won a few times and got Mike back. Adam had to play in between games.

He even told Chad, "Lift up your shirt dad." In "real man" ping pong, the loser lifts up his shirt and the winner gets to blast him with the ball the number of points he won by.

The biggest laughs at the pool came from Chad and Mike timing their slides to splash unsuspecting victims as they walked past the pool slide. The lifeguard told Chad his splash of the fully dressed supervisor was the best she had ever seen. She got soaked from the face down. She turned around and gave Chad an evil look, but he raised his arms in triumph and shouted, "Yeah!!!" as everyone laughed...

I finished transforming the toy room into baby Brandon's room.

We went to pick our own blueberries.

Adam didn't understand the concept of pick the berry and put it in your basket to take home. He had his own 3 Step process to picking berries. Step 1: pick the berry. Step 2: eat the berry. Step 3: Repeat steps 1 & 2.

Emma lost her 1st tooth. She was so excited the tooth fairy was going to bring her something, she had trouble going to sleep. The tooth fairy did come and brought her gum and a dollar bill.

Our cousin Graham joined the family on June 14th. He came in interesting fashion. Be sure to check Keely's blog for details.

Here we are all loaded up to go home. Adam didn't want to go home and kept saying, "No leave camping..."

We even had the bike rack on the back of the van.

We had lots of fun with our friends. The kids really loved riding bikes, playing with friends, going to the beach, and painting rocks.

We had one really great day of sun while camping so that day we spent 5 hours at the beach. The kids loved it and I loved just sitting there and talking with friends and watching the kids play carelessly. Addie and Brooke are looking for clams in this picture

Is it a boy or girl?

So today is the day to find out if we are have a girl or boy baby. Or as Addie putts it "Today we are finding out whats in my moms belly" Like it might be something other than a baby.
I asked the girls to draw me pictures of what was there guess and Emma who doesn't ever like to be wrong drew both a girl and boy so she could be right no matter what but if you ask her she says its a boy. Addie drew a girl but has been tell people all along we need a boy so Adam has someone to play with.

I was able to be there when she was born and let me tell you it is crazy to see your baby sister become a mother. Ashlyn is a great mom and she has already learned that motherhood is the greatest and hardest thing in life.

Family Fun in Januray

Last month we had another great family trip to Disneyland with lots of memorable experiences. Addie and Emma became official big kids by riding all the big rollercoasters. The girls both agreed that space mountain was the favorite rollercoaster so they road it two times in a row.
Adam also was a big boy because he wasn't scared of Captain Hook. When Adam saw Captain Hook, he ran right up to him gave him a hug and the told him "I feed you to the crocadiles Captain Hook" it was all so cute.

Adam has officially been brainwashed that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth.

Adam and I (Christal) both love the Buzz Lightyear ride, but for totally different reasons. Adam loves that he gets to shoot a lazer and help get Zurg the bad guy, and I love that I get to watch him have so much fun. I also love to look around and see all the dads totally ignoring their kids because they are trying to shoot their laser gun and get the most points. I think Adam and I road this ride 4 times because it is so good.

We have had a pet upgrade!

So our hamster Minnie died this month and the kids were very sad about the hole thing so we decided that we better get a new pet. I really didn't want to get another hamster right now and the kids wanted a dog which was not going to happen. Then they asked for baby ducks but I told them we will have to wait for Easter to get eggs and then we can hatch them ourselves. So then we were lead to the idea of a rabbit. And after thinking about it, there are many positives to rabbits. They can live outside, they can be cuddled, you don't have to take them for a walk, and their poop is very small.

After all those positives we went to the pet store and picked out Daisy our new pet. The kids really love her and she is a spoiled rabbit. She has a one of a kind cage that Papa Ron build for her with a little ramp so she can go in and out of it.The girls are really good at playing with her with out torchering her.

So the world keeps on going and I keep sitting on the couch with too much house work to do and no energy to do it. I 'm about 14 weeks pregnant and this baby is letting me know it wants to be the last one. With all my other pregnancy I was only sick at night and this one I feel sick all day ever day. Hopefully as I start this next week I will feel better.
The girls are really excited that we are having a baby and already kiss my belly every night and "say good night baby" They tell every one that they want a baby brother so Adam can have someone to wrestle with. I too would love another boy so Adam could have a brother, but I know we will get who ever is meant for our family and who has been waiting to come to our family.

Remembering Hannah

In memory of Hannah Naomi, a dear friend's baby daughter whose life on this earth was just for a moment, I am announcing that I have become a volunteer photographer with the non-profit organization Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.

This organization works to preserve the memory of children whose lives on this earth are but for a moment, through photography. I have had the opportunity to work with two families by creating lasting memories for them of their little ones.

After my friend lost her daughter, the reality of this life became more real to me. My appreciation for my own children grew immensly. The knowledge of the gospel helped me find peace as I know that one day Hannah will be reunited with her parents and brothers. After experiencing Hannah's passing and the pain her family felt it opened my eyes to these types of trials that many face all over the world. I have wanted to find some way to ease the burden for families who lose their babies.

When I found out about this organization I knew that my prayers had been answered as it would provide a way for me to serve and share my talents with others. Each time I have been able to take photos for families I remember sweet Hannah and her family. I hope that as I work with these families I can help ease their burdens by giving them a lasting memory of their babies.

Emma turned 5 this weekend and we are so blessed to have her be a part of our family. These are a few of my favorite pictures of Emma.

Party Time

This year Emma wanted to have a princess party, so thats what we had. All her friends came dressed as princess and we had a fun table set up with princess hats, rings, bracelets. We made butterfly wands and had a pinata. The highlight of the day was seeing Emma smiling as she hit all the candy out of the pinata.

Look out Hook there is a new Peter Pan in town.

Adam is the cutest Peter Pan in the world. He just can't get enough of this book that aunt Jodie gave us last year.

We just got back from an awesome trip to San Fransisco to visit Uncle Mike and his bridge. Stay tuned for more picture coming soon (after we get settled in from our trip).

Soccer just got alot cuter!

Emma is now playing soccer too! She joined Addie's soccer team after a girl on the team dropped out. Watching these two sisters playing together is so cute. They hold hands half the time on the field and Addie tells Emma what to do the rest of the time.

I asked Addie what ride she wanted to do first now that she was 6, and she said, "Scary Hotel." I took her on the ride 2 yrs ago and she was very scared. Now that she is 6, she feels big enough to not be scared. After the ride, I asked her if she wanted to do it again and she said no.

Happy Birthday Addie

Addie celebrated her 6th birthday with a High School Musical party. She is really into HSM, so we had a HSM pinata,cake, and even a HSM karaoke. She had lots of fun and it only took me 2 weeks to clean up the toy room after 20 kids played in it.

Emma starts school

As you can tell by the picture, Emma didn't think she wanted to be at school. Emma is a big momma's girl and doesn't like change. She wasn't sure she wanted to start her last year at preschool. But I was sure she needed to go. Looking at the next picture you can see she ended up having a great first day at school.

Emma said the best part of her first day at school was being able to play with her cousin at outside play time.

Soccer Time

I'm now an official Soccer Mom!!
Addie is playing her first year of soccer and she is loving it. I'm having a lot fun with her and her team. I'm the assistant coach and the coach was out of town for the first game, so I coached the first game, made the banner, and brought the snack. So you could say I had to be supper soccer mom the first game. Addie did great her first game as she scored the first goal of the game just seconds after the kick off.

Adam loves quads, or as he calls them "cycle" meaning motorcycles. So this year, for his birthday we decided to spoil him. As you can see by the picture, we have a very happy little boy.

Yes, my little girl is ready for kindergarten. Addie's first day of school was August 19th and she was so excited to start school. To tell you the truth, I think I was more excited than she was. Addie has a great teacher, Mrs. Vaglica, and I feel very confident in how her school is run, so I know she is in good hands. Addie has also spent most of the summer fighting with her sister, so I was ready for them to have some time apart.

Addie said that school "was great, no, it was terrific" and that the best part of school was making a new friend. She also thanked me for taking her to school and said she really wanted to go back tomorrow.

Because I have a super husband I get to be the lucky aunt and be with new baby Brooklyn for her first weekend of life. She is really a good baby and it has been so nice to be in Utah and spend my day doing nothing but set around and hold a new baby. This is my first trip all by myself and I have to say I really miss my family but really love the break too.Thanks Super Dad for haveing the kids all weekend and thanks mom and keely for your help too.
And to Addie,Emma and Adam I love you keep being good kids for daddy.

So I believe you all this a miracle.A almost two year old staying in bed.
About a week ago I though it would be a good idea to get the toddler bed set up in Adam's room so he could get familiarly with it. We had to pick up the bed from some friends house and on the way to picking it up I told Adam we were picking him up a big boy bed and his answer was "no no no". We got the bed load up in the car and Adam just looked at it and saying "no no no".You could say that he didn't want a big boy bed. Then I told Adam that his big boy cousin TJ and Jared sleeped in the big boy bed. Adam answer by saying "TJ Jared big boy bed" he then decide that he wanted a big boy bed.
Later that night I asked Adam if he was going to sleep in his big boy bed. He then quickly ran to his room and climb into his bed and sayed "TJ Jared bed" and he then when right to sleep. It has now been about a week and he still loves to sleep in his big boy bed.I feel pretty luckly on this one.

We love the 4th of July and can't wait until Friday. The girls ask when the 4th of July will be here all year long. They especially love being in the push'em pull'em parade ( the same parade I walked in as a child every year) they have already decorated their wagon and scooter to ride in the parade.

Happy Fathers Day to the Best Dad in the world. We love our hard working dad. On the Saturday before Fathers Days we got to spend the morring having fun with our dad. We went out to breakfast and then went to the golf course to hit some balls. Adam was so excited when we got to the golf course that he couldn't stop smiling.

For a little back yard fun I get the kids lady bugs a few times a year for the kids to play with and they also help eat any bad bugs that are in our plants. The girls loved them and Adams didn't know what to make of them because any lady bug we put on his would fly away. I guess they knew they might get killed if they were too close to a little boy.

End of school year partySo this year I deiced to be the crazy mom and have and end of the school year party at our house and invited both Addie's & Emma's class over for a pizza party ( 24 kids). It end up being so much fun and all the kids were so well behaved.
This was Addie's last year at preschool and we were so lucky to get the best pre-k preschool teacher in the world, Teacher Treasa. We just love her and will miss her so much!
Emma also had a great teacher, Teacher Laura. She was Addie's teacher a few years ago and we hope that she will still be teaching when Adam gets to preschool so he can have her too. She is so loving and is really good at letting the kids be themselves and not push them into growing up to fast. We love her! Thank you Teacher Laura for a great year.

Adam got a new hat a few weeks ago and he loves it! He eats, sleeps and playes with it on. He wears in forwards and backwards and looks so cute with it on. I love my little boy.

It was time to take the ducks back and Addie was not happy at all. She did a great job saying good bye but when we got into the car she lost it. She knew from the being that we were taking the ducks back when they got to big for the box we were keeping them in and well they grew and it was time. Addie cryed for 45 min. after we said good bye and I felt really bad, so I asked here what I could do to help her feel better and she said she wanted a monkey and that she would stop crying if I got here a monkey. I don't think so!

So we are still here.

Sorry I have not posted in along time. Chad just fixed our internet yesterday so I'm back.
We love Ventura, we have had great weather the last 2 months and have spend alot of time outside. I had been wanting to get beach pictures of my kids done and I finally got around to it. I had alot of fun take these pictures and by the end of the afternoon I had alot of great beach pictures.

We had a great Easter this year with our big egg hunt. We had over most of our family and a few friends, & like alawys the kids out numbers the adults. I guess Adam can never say he has no one to play with when family is around. Adam has 2 couisons on each side of the family that are the same age as him.

March a month of Fun

This last month has been so busy. I didn't get time to post about our family visitors. We had all of Chad's family here. Mike came from San Fancisco, Nate & his girlfriend (Judith) came from Arizona, & Lisa & Daniel came from Utah. It had been a very long time since we had all been together. The kids love having so many aunts & uncles around to play with. One of the first days with the family we went to the Santa Barbara zoo. For once the adults out-numbered the kids and I actually got to look at the animals instead of chase children around.

So our chicken eggs didn't work and our duck eggs are not due to be done until next week and well we didn't want to wait any longer so we when and got ducks yesterday. They are only 2 days old and we are having so much fun. After we play with them for a few weeks we will take them back to the farm were I got them. Addie said she is the ducks mommy. They love to climb up on her lap and they flow her around the house, it is so cute.

Easter is on it's way and so are our chicks & ducks!

I thought it would be fun to have baby chicks & ducks for Easter so I got two incubators and 8 eggs in hopes that we will end up with babies. The girls are so excited and every day they put a sticker on a count down calendar. It takes the chicks 21 days & ducks 28 days before they will hatch.

My big girl!

Addie gave her first talk on the book of Mormon at church a few weeks ago. She wanted to give her talk on a good golf swing but we though that it would be best if she talked on something that went with the primary theme for the year. Here is her talk:

"This is my book of Mormon. I love to read it with my family. My mom reads the book of Mormon to me when I eat breakfast and it makes me feel good."

We love our cousins and are so lucky to spend a lot of time with them. When we are all together the noise level is very high, but oh so fun. Ten kids in 6 1/2 years. I don't think we could have them any faster. As of now, no one is pregnant and no one is trying to get pregnant, so Grammy & Papa don't have to worry about getting to the hospital any time soon to see a new baby being born.

We are excited to announce that we have our first cousin on its way from Chad's side of the family. Lisa and Daniel are expecting their first baby due in July. We should find out what they're having next month.

We found snow

We found snow! Our kids have not had much time in the snow and on Tuesday the 8th we had a free day. So we decided to go find snow. Well, I decided I wanted to find snow and Chad went along with the idea. Naturally, the kids loved the idea. We quickly got some warm clothes on and headed up hwy 33 in Ojai in hopes of find the cold suff. We could see some snow high on the mountain tops but we couldn't reach the mountain tops, so we turned around and headed back to Ventura. Still not giving up on finding snow, we headed to Mt. Pinos off the 5. About 1.5 hours later we were playing in the snow. We started off with a snow ball fight, then did some sleding on our boogie board, and finally built a snowman. The kids loved it and we plan on making trips to snow more often.
