Daddy's New Hair Cut

Emma loves daddy's new hair cut for work becaues she got to cut it. Addie and Emma both had a great time cuting daddy's hair all off.

We found snow

We found snow! Our kids have not had much time in the snow and on Tuesday the 8th we had a free day. So we decided to go find snow. Well, I decided I wanted to find snow and Chad went along with the idea. Naturally, the kids loved the idea. We quickly got some warm clothes on and headed up hwy 33 in Ojai in hopes of find the cold suff. We could see some snow high on the mountain tops but we couldn't reach the mountain tops, so we turned around and headed back to Ventura. Still not giving up on finding snow, we headed to Mt. Pinos off the 5. About 1.5 hours later we were playing in the snow. We started off with a snow ball fight, then did some sleding on our boogie board, and finally built a snowman. The kids loved it and we plan on making trips to snow more often.

It is 2008 and we are starting off the new year by bring our family up to date with a blog. We are excited to be able to share what is going on in our lives with our family and friends and to reach out to those we have not seen in a long time. Happy New Year!
